I am currently the Area Vice President for Western India, overlooking the operation of several of Hyatt’s flagship properties in the area, including the Grand Hyatt Mumbai. Before my move to the sub-continent, I was the Area Vice President for the State of Qatar and the Sultante of Oman for Hyatt Hotels and also the General Manager for the Grand Hyatt Doha Hotel & Villas.

Having grown up in the Swiss Alps in the resort alpine village of Zermatt, hospitality was all around me. My Grandad and Dad were accomplished hoteliers, welcoming guests from all around the world in our hotel. 


I am passionate about delivering above-and-beyond moments for our guests and colleagues. I believe first and foremost in excellence of service and in being passionate in everything we do as the key to success.


I am an accomplished hospitality executive with extensive operational experience within established upscale luxury hotels in seven countries across four continents.


Responsible for financial performance, total quality management, sales and marketing, social media, positioning, branding, talent management, portfolio management & development and owner relations.


I am known to be strategically focused, financially disciplined and result-oriented with a strong track record of consistent leadership and innovation.


Recognizing the importance of talent management is another credo of mine; having groomed several new general managers over the years. 


With a thorough background in Food & Beverage (certified Chef and Sommelier) as well as substantial experience in Rooms Division and exposure to Sales and Marketing as well as Controlling, I have a holistic understanding of hotel operations.


I possess thorough knowledge of Unions and negotiation tactics as well as handling challenging ownership situations.
